Your Wedding, Your Way!!!
In the Sparks, NV Area!!!
All People Are Welcome in this Ministry!!!

Reverend Dr. Robert J. Bryant conducts wedding services in the Sparks, NV area.   His speciality is smaller weddings on extremely short notice.  The typical fee is $100.  There is an extra fee for rehearsal attendance or if you need assistance writing vows.
Rev. Dr. Bryant performs both religious and non-religious ceremonies and will work with the couple to ensure that their ceremony is done just the way they want it done.   Nevada law requires that you have a valid marriage license, two marriage certificates (an original and a bride and groom copy), and that the information in those documents be correct prior to the wedding being conducted.  You will also need to provide at least one adult witness and a location in the Sparks area.
Please contact me by email at if you are interested.  Please give me some details of when, where, how many people are to be present and whether you desire a religious or non-religious ceremony.  Please give me a contact number and a convenient time for me to call you and we will discuss your special day!  I will then draft a ceremony for your review.  You can make any change you want or we can start from scratch.  It is your day!!
While I am a Christian pastor I will perform ceremonies for any religious belief or no belief at all.  Since my experience is with the Christian faith if you are of another faith you will have to assist me in making sure that your needs are being met.  I also perform renewal of vows and committment ceremonies.  Thank you for considering me for your special day!!!

NOTE:  If you would like me to pray for you, please email me.  There is absolutely no charge.  If your wedding is in the Sparks area and you cannot afford $100, please feel free to contact me via email.

Prayer For Week Starting September 18th

Praying for Those Who Don't Want Prayers

Have you ever prayed for someone who doesn't want you to pray for them?  Do you think that there is an issue with doing such a thing?  I often pray for the world to come to Jesus.  I pray that they hear and understand the word.  I have prayed for people who have told me that they don't believe in God.  I have prayed for the ill not knowing whether they believe.

But, what if someone specifically asked you not to pray for them?  Would you still do it?  Are they in a situation where it would so upset them to learn that you have prayed for them that it my cause them some emotional harm?  There can be dificult choices with this.  You could of course pray for them on your own and simply not tell them.  But, what if they later ask you if you have prayed for them?  For me personally, I would take each situation and carefully consider it.  I don't believe that given such a specific request not to pray that I would automatically just pray for them.  You may disagree with me.  However, I may well just pray generally that all those not wanting prayer, be led to God.  What do you think about this issue?

Weekly Thought: Repentence
Week Starting September 18th

We all make mistakes.  Sometimes they are not intentional.  However, sometimes we sin intentionally.  We are not perfect, but we can always try to improve and we can repent and ask forgiveness for our sins.  We read, "After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”  (NIV Mark 1:14-15).  Jesus died for us, that we may accept Him as Lord and Savior and invite Him into our lives. And, that we may ask for our sins to be forgiven.   Why would some people not ask for sins to be forgiven?  It could be that they have not accepted Jesus.  If they have accepted Jesus they may never take the time to pray.  In some cases,  people may have arrogance and believe that they have no reason to repent.

New Book:  Dr. Bryant's new book, Hope Healing Manual VII, The Real Estate Broker, is now available!!!  Please note that although books are numbered in a series, they have been written to read in any order you desire!!!

Kindle/Amazon Ebooks   The books below are all available on Amazon/Kindle by clicking the link.  All of the books were written by Dr. Bryant and all are written to inspire the reader.  Please consider reading the books and please consider leaving your honest feedback on Amazon.  Dr. Bryant is an Amazon affiliate and receives renumeration for books sold or if you use a link from this website and purchase an Amazon product.

Take time and pray.  Invite Jesus Christ into you life as Lord and Savior.  Ask for your sins to be forgiven, to have strength to avoid sinning, and move forward the best you can.   If your arrogance will not allow you to repent, take time and pray about it.  Take a look at yourself.  Is there really something about you where you do not need to go to God?  The answer is "no."  Please consider prayer!!!

Verses of the Week Starting September 18th
(NIV Mark 12:28-33)

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[e]  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[f]  The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[g] There is no commandment greater than these.”
“Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
